Sherfield Park Community Association

Sherfield Park Community Association (SPCA) will be running the Sherfield Park Community Centre on behalf of the residents of Sherfield Park.

The SPCA was set up by residents for residents. We work hard to help make Sherfield Park a great community where people love to live. We work hard behind the scenes to make Sherfield Park a better place for all. From seemingly small tasks - like getting a postbox to larger tasks like running the Community Centre and everything in between.

We are all volunteers and give our time to make Sherfield Park a community - rather than just another housing estate. If you are interested in helping us - either by registering as a volunteer to help us at events (email volunteers@sherfieldparkcommunity.co.uk or by joining the committee (email communications@sherfieldparkcommunity.co.uk ) We definitely not a stereotypical committee - we are a broad spectrum group from age mid-20s upwards and are always looking for new committee members.

Even if you do not wish to become a committee member, everyone is welcome to come and sit in on our meetings - we meet every last Wednesday of the month at Sherfield Village Hall at 7.30pm.

Special General Meeting

The Association is convening a Special General Meeting (SGM) on Wednesday 31 August 2011 at the Sherfield Park community Centre beginning at 7.15pm.

The sole purpose of the SGM will be the appointment of an independent Auditor.

You are hereby requested to attend to vote on the Associations proposed appointment.

The motion to be put before the meeting will be that;
“The Sherfield Park Community Association proposes to appoint Jones &Co, Queens Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, GU14 6JP as the Associations independent Auditors “

In the event that you are, for whatever reason, unable to attend the above meeting arrangements have been put in place for you to vote by proxy. You can do this by emailing  us on communications@sherfieldparkcommunity.co.uk  indicating either YES or NO to the above motion.

All replies must be received not later than August 30.

No other items may be raised or discussed.
